Completely out of the blue, I learned today that Adobe was releasing very soonish a .5 version of their Creative Suites 5. Not all the Adobe product are in for an update, probably justifying the .5 moniker and not the CS6, but the ones that are updated have a few interesting new features.
Premiere and After Effects will now support the new RED EPIC and will be able to edit in 5K.
After Effects has also a new built in warp stabiliser, can add a falloff to its lights as well as a few small improvements.
It is probably a bit of a light update, especially since Photoshop and Illustrator are staying at the CS5 level [but both Audition and Flash climb up to CS5.5] but the price point for the update stays small and attractive.
